We play that you can sell as many gear cards as you want per visit, and buy
back during the same visit, as long as the same runner doesn't sell and buy
the same gear in the same visit.

When I played the card in my deck, I found it made the deck too slow for
the benefit. Basically, unless you can beat the odds, each gear card sold
only makes you 1-2 nuyen once every three turns, and there are lots better
ways to make money. Plus, you have to load up your deck with gear to sell,
taking away those precious card slots I would rather use for other, more
useful cards.
