I thought about adding a cost to the two cards but decided that if you are
trying to stop a running team, you are helping your challenges somewhat.
The challenge is not being pumped where that has a cost. My two stingers
are forcing the team to follow a set course different from what they would
normally use - similar to having a change of moods (infamous mood swings).
I feel that if your opponent has to pay out 6 Nuyen to get his 6 runners
back to their normal selves, having a cost on my part would somewhat reduce
the affect. The cards do not send a runner home, nor kill them directly -
what happens to them is still your opponent's plans, or now lack of.

Well... *scratches his head*, for the game itself, if a team is forced to
fight a challenge instead of sleazing it, is the alarm triggered? I can't
honestly answer because I have played the game only once as a demo *smirk*.
If combat does cause the alarms to be set off, then in a sense, this card
would set the alarm off. But it is not something that is automatically
done per se. Again, the actions of the opponent's running team dictates
what happens next. Now I am thinking about my next card...

If a big-brute bruising team has to frag one of its members to get past
this card, not the challenge itself - just the card, then like above, a
cost on my end would reduce the blow. But that is my opinion.

Errr... *scratches his head some more* - anyone want to give a reply as to
whether or not an alarmed challenge can still be sleazed? _I_ would think
that pacifism would be a mood swing, so if you are first forced to combat
everything, then suddenly this stinger of kindness hits, you would ~have~
to sleaze it, even with the alarms blazing. If I had a better
understanding of the game mechanics, I could answer more fully.

Hmmm, maybe the card would override first and foremost. If you have to go
into combat because of an alarm and you feel nice and bubbly, I would say
getting a bloodlust of fragging a team member would then allow combat -
almost the only way a team could enter combat was to frag a member at this
point. Alarms still ringing, one member shorter, but at least now proceed
as normal. A logic path of combating the sleaze aspect brought on by
kindness to resolve into regular combat?
