Don't usually go for the Pillar of Steel types - the biggest I've
actually played is Red Widow with Muscle Replacement (woo-hoo, a 6/6 -
but look at those skills!).
I *did* once get to see Tin Man pumped up by eight Nuyen, in a race
between him and a Security Guards. The Security Guards actually won (at
the end of the round - when Tin Man was trashed). Their increase to
Body really helps.
And most people will probably think that is soooo low tech. :)

(A6)? Easily. Wildfire and three Armor spells give you (A5); put a
Lined Coat on him and voila!
Louie da Bruiser works even quicker; toss on a Heavy (Full) and he's an
instant (A5) (until Whoops!). Toss on a Bulldog, that (A6). Turn him
into a Ganger and play a Trogs, that's (A6) on a shadowrun. Play a
Moment of Clarity or Outstanding Performance, and you can increase
that. Toss on Skillsofts - well, you get the idea.
Probably the cheapest 'big Armor' is Skwrk with a free Dermal Plating
(10/12 A3!). If you use Mr. Johnson, you might even pull Skwrk for
free, and enjoy a nice toast with jam afterward.
So .. what's your buffest Challenge? (Loki's got that one licked,
alas.)

benefiting from Armor is a good thing.)
