For some reason, when I went to reply to this, it sent the whole directly
to Cyberbunny and not to the intended list as a whole. So Cyberbunny -
you're getting this twice.

No offense intended for the above nitpick. Just seems to be the most
common mistake I see on the net.

~Realistically~, adding dermal plating to a flesh body and replacing the
muscles are both a one-shot affair. You can not replace something that is
not there to be organically replaced again. The game does not have Dermal
Plating 2 and Muscle Replacement 2 where bigger and better are allowed, so
once you add these two cyberwares to H-man, that is that. There is no
need, nor allowed the benefit of, additional cyberwares of this type. That
is, they can not be layered.

Now the limbs on the other hand, you can add as many as you possibly can.
Last I saw, there were no official cyber legs, so his arms are the only
multiple component you could add. If there were cyber legs, the potential
to create a 'spider-like' individual would be possible then.

Perhaps I missed it and the memory fails me here, but because H-man does
not suffer from essence loss (according to the RPG, he's already 'dead' and
getting a complete body transplant), cards like Cyber Psychosis will not
affect him, because of the round-about wording of the cards. Having a
negative essence kills a runner, but the unique H-man has no ill-affects
from negative essence so...

A long while back, Brad Rebh and myself (comrade-in-arms during the great
Torgo debate for those still listening by now) created a bunch of bioware
cards. For those that would not know, bioware cards were new and improved
versions of organic materials for the body. We were working off one of the
Shadowrun source books who's name escapes me at the moment. Brad created a
new set of rules dealing with essence loss from bioware and worked it into
essence loss with cyberware. But let's just say the reception to our ideas
were, well quite frankly - apparently no one gave a damn. Partially
because of ~who~ we are. Continued flames flared again, some list members
quit reply in turn (and/or just left the list completely), one side
continues onward with their posting and the other side, being ignored and
ignoring the first side, continues onward with their occasional posting.
Ahhh, I'm reminiscing again here...

Anyway, back on topic - if anyone would be interested in seeing the bioware
cards and some other past card ideas we had, drop me a private line.

Back to joining the other 180+ in lurker mode again.
