This one is cool too, but why for a Detective. That'd be better a cop's
job,
no ?


A detective is a sort of cop. Maybe the flavor text isn't good to
represent the difference between a normal cop and a detective :
investigating. The basic idea is to work something to give to a
detective. Something that will not necessarily associate him with the
Stars.
