I don't think Fasa's answer really misrepresent what Cybermancy is.
Hatchetman 2057 is now a fraggin' cyberzombie. He's got a computer in his head
(the Invoked Memory Simulator) which try to recall him he's alive. H2057's been
through a scary technological-magic process to keep his Aura along with his meat
body. And he's addicted to the latest experimental drugs to keep the body
"working".
Add all the physical and psychological side-effects...
Nobody has even come so close to the edge.
As for instance, one of my favorite quote:
"Twice this morning I've found myself waiting for a heartbeat that've never
come..."

Is that a big surprise is this guy turns into a psycho ???
IMHO, he's got better chances to die than Joe Samouraï and his cyberarm.
