>Directly to you, BITE ME.

*yawn* - you going to say anything halfway intelligent?

>(To everyone else, sorry if my annoyance to such a stupid post has spilled
over.)

What - posting a note telling others to reread the FAQ again ad nauseum
does not constitute 'a stupid post'? Are you insinuating that you are an
expert on what is a smart post versus a stupid post? Or are you just a bit
irritated that you as a Gridsec cop whatever seem to expect people to obey
as you bark orders when they don't?

>In case some of you haven't noticed, the Admin and GridSecs of this (and
the other >ShadowRN lists) have lives. We try our best to keep the junk
that annoys most people to >a minimum.

Yes, I forgot about that again - it seems only the Admins and Gridsecs have
lives while the rest of us that post 'stupid posts', auctions, and trade
replies have no lives at all, except to wait for the next message to appear.

>If those other 'alledged' 180 lurkers on the list were to say something,
what do you >think would happen? Can we say spamming the list? Sure you can.

First of all, it was the admins and/or whoever that said this place had
about 200 people subscribed to the list. I see a good 20 or so posting on
a regular to semi-regular basis. You do the math. Second, it seems you
are saying you do not want people posting around here because all we would
see is spam, 'stupid posts', auctions, and trade lists. What an assumption
on your part there.

>Imagine how frustrating it is to have constant posts in ignorance or just
plain >disregard of the FAQ policies.

Ahhh, but when I have had enough of seeing those same disregards of the FAQ
policies and said a damn word about it, how quickly people are harping on
my ass, suddenly making me the fraggin' bad guy around here. I made an
observation that just saying "read the FAQ" does squat around here AND I
originally said the whole was not intended towards you Dvixen, but suddenly
_I_ am suppose to "bite you". Too bad you were not so vengeful against
those same people with the disregards as you were believing the whole rant
I had was against you. Sounds like a guilty conscious to me there...

>You want the old days? The old days of ShadowRN are NOTHING compared to
some lists I >have been on. ONE violation got you suspended from the list
for a week minimum, and >more got you so you couldn't post at all for a
while. Reaction WAS swift, and there >were NO exceptions. Not even for a
'Oops, forgot to check the outgoing address on this >post'.

I bet posting one's opinion like I am would get one a life time banishment eh?

>You want that, fine, but then your Admin and GridSecs, will have more on
their plates >than any of us need, and I'm certain the Jackbooted thug
nickname we were called
>in jest would be true.

But when another posted a similar idea about allowing others that have more
time to regulate the list, how quickly the idea was squashed. As if anyone
would give up that power to play 'cop' or something. Maybe you should stop
and watch Loki of all people for a moment. As far as I've known, he has
always been the Admin Leader around here and as of yet never threatened
someone with his 'power'. He has posted warnings to those that have broken
the rules per se, and after repeated infractions, removed said offender for
a brief time. He was fair and just about the whole. He has even put up
with some of my past rants and raves - even aimed directly towards him.

But you Dvixen, and in part Adam J., two of the Gridsecs around here - how
quickly you go after _me_ about my opinion on a matter. It seems you are
feeling some sort of guilty conscious or something that instead of dealing
with the problem, you rather attempt to slander me, especially with
quibbles of "bite me". So if I am bound to reduce myself down to your
level at this point, fine - GROW UP!

>Such high handed tactics should not needed for a list with members halfway
intelligent >enough to understand the working of the matrix or magic.

Nor they should be, but constant repeated offenses should have been dealt
with quickly.

>Got it? Good. Now shut up,

No, you shut the hell up. I find it very offensive that you have the nerve
to tell someone you do not know, much less met, to "now shut up". Again I
originally stated the whole was not directed towards you, but you made it
so. Perhaps you should get off your high horse for once and go after those
you find to disregard the FAQ. To the best of my knowledge, I have
followed what was stated in them, along with snipping materials that are
not now needed (which seems everyone occasionally does forget to do). But
the moment I state my opinion around here about matters I find disturbing,
lo and behold how quickly certain people are busting my ass over it... that
I am ragging again.

>... and this GridSec is going on vacation again, just after a 6 week one.
Be nice to >the other GridSecs and Admins before they too go on strike and
you get total anarchy. >Then complain to no one when people post somthing
that annoys you.

You are making it sound like we should build a shrine and worship the
Gridsecs and Admins before they abandon their flock. And about complaining
to no one - hell, seems my complaint goes to the wayside around here half
the time anyway.

Gosh - no smiley... I'm crushed.

That's sarcasm for those lacking.

his opinions in these parts...<<<<<
