My applause on this idea. I don't know how many times that I lost 10 or more nuyen
because some fragger decided to slap me with an Ambushed en Route on my rigger. I
still think that the penalty may be a bit too stiff still. I concur about the whole
idea that the communications link may be in danger, but maybe to give a rigger some
credit for his skillls, let him have a bonus to his roll for every point of
technical that he has. Hows about this:
Roll D6 after each Combat and add the current damage of the Drone.
(-1 for every point of technical.)
On 5+ , Communication is lost and drone is unusable until end of turn.
On 7+, Drone is trashed.
