Seems logical to me. "Built in" doesn't mean Essence Friendly...In the case of
Uncle Joe, you simply recruit a runner who've already been through cybernetics
upgrade. IMHO, that means Essence -2.

I don't know if Ravage appears in any SR novel, but it sounds like she'd be a
Physical Adept (great Melee and Athletics skills and the same bonus as Wired
Reflexes). So she would not need cyberware to be so damn fast...
