i'm the one that brought up the question about uncle joe, i don't play him either, i was
just looking through my cards the other day when the mailing list was looking weak and
thought i'd start a new thread, uncle joe just screamed at me "i've got -2 essence!
wait, no i don't, its not on my card, so just forget it!" you get the idea, i have
seen others play him though, me and this guy got in a confrontation because he wanted to
put cyberarm and dermal plating on uncle joe, so i told him to trash the cards and the
arguement looked pretty much the way it does here, so we rolled the die like the rulebook
says and it came up in my favor, i jus wanted some other opinions on the matter, IMO i
think he should get the -2 essence because to me, "built in" means he has that
gear, and on the gear card chipjack 2, it says the user gets -2 essence, and uncle joe is
using a chipjack 2, hence the user (uncle joe) gets -2 essence... see my point? well,
that's all for now... L8r
