Good point.

Sounds like we go to the same bars :-) And anyone can swing a pool cue,
which adds that, while a person, runner, whathaveya might not be adept at
melee with weapons, it doesn't take a lot of skill to defend oneself with
beforementioned pool stick. As far as breaking Melee into two
disciplines,
armed and unarmed, that just brings a whole new aspect of game balancing
into play. How would runners with Melee unarmed fare against runners
with
armed Melee? I always keep the old adage in mind, "Never, EVER, bring a
knife to a gunfight..."

Well, the card game *cannot* be as reallistic as the RPG. The system is
allright like it is right now (ok, some modifications might be good, but
overall, it is a good system). Just keep one thing in mind : a card game
is *suppose* to be as simple as possible (does Magic rings a bell as for
a bad exemple ??).

Ok, there is a difference between Unarmed, Melee, and Firearms but, aside
from certain guns, no weapon needs one of the above skill to use them.
As for the guns who needs firearms well, I'm not sure I'd be a good
sniper (Ranger Arms SM-3) or can use effectively a LMG (Ingram Valiant).
BTW, I forgot Gunnery, but I don't need to explain that these guns need
special training.

All in all, the system is simple as it is and it is supposed to that way.
If you want to make a difference between Armed and Unarmed, think about
Firearms as well cause now, Stomper is as good with a Predator as Drake
is with it.

Alphirius, you brought up some VERY good points-of-view on this. And I
really like that card idea.

Same here.
