<< aye there boys and girls...

most of you on the list i met this weekend at gen-con.... had a blast meeting
all of you and hope our tournaments were as fun for you as they were for us..
it was our first big tournament we (steve, matt and me) did for fasa...but i
think it went well....i seen lots of good decks and im sure most of you
remember mine...hehehehehehe geeez of love jade...anyways to my point....

i talked to Mike (Skuzzy) about an official news letter.. i talked to most of
you about it an you loved steve, matt and my ideas...so we plan on doing the
Official Fasa Newsletter for the card game.....me and the guys are also
trying
to get a official ranking system and control over the f.a.q. and
rulings....we
are just waiting the okay from Fasa... from talking to Mike he loved it..and
is gonna push for us to get it....i plan on having the 1st issue out mid
september...this one will be my demo...steve matt and i will all contribute
but i will be doing the lay outs and such...this 1st issue is on me....if you
like it will be a 5$ membership fee for a year...not bad...and no i don't
keep
any of this money and me doing this news letter is on my own time..ain't i
kewl...yeah yeah....

the newsletter will contain the following:
1. updated rules (official as long as fasa gives us permission to make the
rule changes between the 3 of us, if not who ever does them will do them and
they will be in my newsletter)
2. updated erratas
3. player of the month(send me your pic and i'll put it up with your deck)
4. combo of the month
5. deck construction
6. player location list( this will include what city/and email addy if they
have internet access)
7. tournament listings
8. the national rankings(i go more into detail about that later)
9. player feedback
oh yeah and kewl fasa art...wooohooo

so niffty aye?...as far as rulings go, if we get to change them we will
listen
to what everyone and i do mean every to see what they have to say...i love
the
game as much as anyone and don't want it to fall apart like others before
it...and rule clarification is a big key to successful card games...

so let me wrap this up because i've had a long weekend but it was great...was
a pleasure meeting everyone there...Loki sorry i didn't make the informal
tournament(rough night at the ww party), but drop me an email and maybe i'll
meet ya somewhere and we can play....

if you want me to send you a free issue in september email me a
fasanews@***.com with your address.. and any comments about the newsletter
can be sent there as well....

tanx for reading.. >>

Sounds like you guys hit it off this weekend, which is great. I think we need
something like this to push the game more. I would be happy to order a
magazine subscription. Now all we have to do is get more people interested in
the game, showing demos at tournaments more and spreading the word.
