Wow, I leave town for a few days and get back to all this? Gee's.....
sounds like I need to start smaking heads together, where's my rubber
chicken.....

Sorry, back ON TOPIC....... Adam, (and anyone else who's still
reading.....) I've always found the suggestions in the booklet is a
pretty decent way to go about things. Granted, part of it depends on the
type of deck you're building, and how big of a deck you're comfortable
playing with....

I've found that, based on the fact that I Hate playing large decks, I
almost always use 60 card decks. In a Decker/Fuchi deck, I might have
10-15 runners, no gear, specials to keep folks from compleating a run,
and the rest challenges..... my fav's being pumpable ones, or hi-damage
inflicting ones, combined with the obj. cross-fire.

In a Lone Star deck, I tend to have a lot more specials, and fewer
runners, just enough to be able to arrest or whatnot.

In a Troll/Bully deck, You can make do with fewer runners, 10 or so,
because they are going to stand up to a lot more.

In my current fav. (after the my ongoing decker deck modifications.....)
is a Mage deck.... Tons of Mages and spells..... about 20 mages, 10-15
spells, and 4 of the mages location..... (the one where you turn a mage
and draw a card.....) I two player games, I always have plenty of folks
to run, or at least intercept.....

So just play around with it, figure out what kind of deck you what to
make..... make it, play it, if it doesn't work out, figure out why and go
from there..... My unbeatable decker deck is 3-4 months old..... I'm
just now getting it perfect... once it is, I can seriously start working
on my unbeatable Shaman deck..... then just keep going from there.

take care, and have fun kids, remember life is only a game.......
