I'm going to make a simple request. This is my opinion, but I'm sure others
agree.

1. Please don't make insulting comments about anyone. The person making the
insult always looks worse.

2. When someone insults you, or otherwise ticks you off, please resist the
immature reaction to tell everyone on the list about it. I have objected to
people's e-mails dozens of times, and except for this one post, have never
made those complaints public. Why? I don't need to waste your time with
what I think about an off-topic post. Off-topic responses create more
off-topic responses. We can assume that you accurately defended your
maleness or femaleness offline. We don't need to actually witness the
defense itself. (And to be honest, 99% of the time, I have seen some really
unimaginative defenses.)

3. Please, please keep SRTCG alive. If we can't even work together, well,
this game is doomed. If we spent half as much energy on working together as
we spend arguing over how this list can run...

4. Think about why this list gets off topic. Prime reasons are that
someone insulted someone, or that someone posted off-topic garbage. if you
religiously adhere to A) not insulting anyone, B) posting only about the
game, and C) changing your subject line to match what you are talking about,
then maybe this list would not have such a low signal to noise ratio.

I care a lot about this list, but it's easy to see why this list can loose
subscribers.

That's my rant, it is up to you to decide whether you have the maturity to
keep your arguments offline and to stick by the list rules. I challenge
you, because I know you can't do it. PLEASE RESPOND, IF YOU MUST, ONLY BY
PERSONAL MAIL.

To make up for my breaking my personal code, I have spent some time atoning
and making new card ideas. I will send them in a separate e-mail so people
won't reply using this same subject header.

Peace,

Teos.
