And acceptable risk is different than risk. No business in their right
mind will cut into their major revenue generators for an offshoot product,
especially if its particular goal market is saturated. That would just be
stupid.

That's not saying the card market is saturated, but with dominating
products such as Magic, etc., etc., I'm sure there are other reasons why
they've chosen not to. Everyone should keep in mind that there are other
mitigating factors (corporate internal) that we don't know, and they have
no need to share.
