Not making excuses, just reporting the facts as I get them.

Everything it NOT a #1 priority to them. Battletech is and will come first,
along with it comes their miniatures market. Shadowrun, the RPG, comes as
second priority. After that is the SRTCG and new line developments. However,
in the current case with the two game lines debuted at GC'98, they're getting
more attention than the SRTCG as they have to get ready for realse to game
store shelves and probably want to be released in time for X-mas.

I've already told you this.

> These excuses donald, Loki, and whoever else, are getting weak.

See above. I haven't made excuses, I've told you what I've heard and know from
FASA and it's fact. The big brother RPG's take precedence. That's life in the
corp world.

> Why don't any of you pressure the DLOH's or whoever it is you talk to?

What purpose would that serve, other than frustrating the guys and making me
look silly. I've told you before, they're FASA artists first and SRTCG
developers second. As SR3 and other products are in the works, they have those
jobs to do. FASA is 20people, and everyone does double duty. They're not 20
staff becuase they're cheap, that's what their profitability margin works at
for them. They freelance some of their writing.

I don't get it. How much pull do you think I have at FASA. Put pressure on the
DLOH's? Ya, right. I'm just an avid fan of their games (as Axl pointed out in
his posts) and I occasionally get to playtest stuff. I'm not about to tell the
employees of a successful gaming corp how to do their jobs.

That's not what I reported from talking to Skuzzy and Jim at Gen Con.
Actually, what I was told cam from Jim. He'd said that the Corp Wars draft was
done and waiting to go to the printers, however it was on hold for undisclosed
reasons at the moment.

From my other post, we now know that FASA was negotiating the purchase of Ral
Partha. In that event, they would be dumping alot of revenue and energy into
the acquisition becuase of the impact it would have on their Battletech wing.
Battletech made FASA, of their cash cows it is the boss bull. You can't fault
them for taking care of BT first, and SRTCG having to come in where it does.

As long as the letters are handled with tact, sure. FASA is one of the few
gaming companies I've been in contact with that tries to stay in tune with
their player base. Just realize the crew is spread thing and being pulled in a
number of directions. Don't beat them up in what you right, it's not good to
bite the hand that feeds you.
