I spent about $150 on ED books at GC myself. Of course, I new that ED was
retired so there is a little difference. Stil, as you said elsewhere in your
post, getting in on the game at this point provides more than enough material
for five-plus years of ED adventuring. Couple that with what a GM and players
can come up with on their own, and ample online resources for Earthdawn and
you've got eight to ten years of solid ED gaming ahead of you.

I've already told my players (who've been campaigning in my ED game for about
five months now) that I've easily got their next two years of adventures
planned out. :o)

Also, as I've mentioned elsewhere, FASA is looking into ED coming out of
retirement with another party possibly picking up the writing and development
of the line. "Dragons" is currently on the bargaining table. We'll just have
to see what comes of it.

Well, this is definitely deep into OT territory, so I'll wrap up.
