Awakened Runners... hmm. Here's some from my RPG games...

Name: Renee
Type: Awakened Runner (Banshee)
Cost: 4¥
Rating: 2/2
Description: Frag one runner you control to add that runner's body to
Renee's attack. 2¥: target an opponent's runner. Roll d6. If result is
higher than TR's body, frag runner.
Flavor: "You look tired. Let me sing you a lullaby..."


I think Banshees are best left contained as Challenges myself. They seem to
be very unpredictable and primal in many ways.

Name: Yu San
Type: Awakened Runner (Weretiger)
Cost: 4¥
Rating: 2/3
Skills: Melee 2 Stealth 1
Description: Yu San may not use gear. 3¥: +3/+2 (A1). Yu San does not
unturn during owner's next refresh phase if this ability is used.
Flavor: "It is the principle of the matter. Honor is not served by
overpowering with sheer strength."


Ummm......don't know about this one. Personally, I don't like it one bit.

Name: Slick the Fixer
Type: Awakened Contact (Zu Nu Qua, no I don't know how it's spelled)
Cost: 3¥
Description: Slick cannot be targeted by effects which trash cards. 2¥:
Roll d6 before revealing next challenge in stack. 1: trash random gear
card from shadowrunning team 2-5: no effect 6: deploy gear card from
hand onto runner participating in a shadowrun.
Flavor: "Did I ever explain to you the corallation between price and
what constitues rush delivery?"


I pretty much agree with what MattB commented.

Name: Blade's Wholesale Export
Type: Location
Description: 5¥: Try to make a deal with Slick. Roll d6: 1-4: Visiting
runner takes 3 AP damage 5+: Search your deck for all copies of one gear
card in your hand. You may choose to put any number of them in your
hand. Reshuffle the rest with your deck.
Flavor: "You've got 2 minutes. Start talking."


I see what the aim of this card is. You're aiming somewhat for a one-shot
at getting 4 copies of the card from your deck (or draw?) pile into your
hand. Well....lessee. Would a card like this be more suitable?

Blade's Export Warehouse
Mafia(?) Location (they usually say something like that or Street, etc.)
2¥: Turn Runner with Social and roll D6 (Mafia Runners add +1). 1-4:
Visiting Runner takes 3 armor-piercing damage. 5+: Take up to 4 copies of a
Gear card and place them in your hand. Roll D6 (+1 for each Gear card
taken) after use. On 5+, trash Blade's Export Warehouse.
Deployment Cost: 4¥

A card like this gives added meaning to Mugsy. He would get +1 on his roll,
and if he's trashed by this Location, on 5+ he's back in your hand. And if
you're lucky on the first try, ya only pay 6¥ to get'em. But, I feel the
opportunity for a trash should be there becuz of it's powerful ability.

This comes from Slick's negotiation tactic of placing a defensive
grenade set for 2 minutes on the table, and the other party can talk
until they feel they should leave. >:->


Which I think's cool ^^^^

Anyway, comment change etc as needed.
