I don't think that it ever really states what happens here. We use the
house rule that you stop can payment on upkeep and the runner is
trashed. However if said runner is in lone star lockup you must pay
his/her upkeep untill you can get them out and then stop paying the
upkeep. We do this to help out lone star decks (they need a little help
and it makes it more fun for our group)
