Amazingly enough, I have sleazed through Dunklezahn's once in a 3-player
game fully stacked to finish a game. I had only reconed the top card of
each stack as time wuz running short and I wuz risking losing the game or
just going balls out on it....I just had Stilletto provide 4 different
Runners with Stealth and sent them on their way and had Red Widow in waiting
at the safehouse. But, this wuz at the end of the game, and I usually just
keep chipping away at Challenges to deplete their chances of putting enough
good ones out. This usually causes the game to drag on as they are usually
forgoing ¥ to get more Challenges out to stop me and they sometimes do the
same to me. So, instead of beating around the bush.....no, I don't expect
to make any, not with all the Stingers. By about turn 5 or 6 I expect to
have 4 good Runners out, if no Recon, and I just start chipping
away...making sure I have at least about 14 total defense (for Dracoform,
Ambush, FireElemental, Security Drone, etc. ) and 2 with a defense of 5 or
better (for Mine Field, Highway Showdown, Big Chase, etc. ) so I only have
to lose 2 Runners max. Sometimes I get lucky and only lose 1 or none. But,
I don't think it's too good a strategy to hesitate in SRTCG or focus away
from running too early to mess with your opponent(s) if ya don't need to.
I, personally only mess with my opponents (Runner vs. Runner, Stingers,
Specials,etc.) if I start falling behind. It's kinda complicated and I've
strayed too far from the question, cuz it's raining here and I'm bored....so
