Well,

My feeling is that the Vampire idea was Donald's and it is up to him to like
or not like our comments. He can decide if he wants to release a real "net
expansion." Of course, there is no "council on net expansions". At some
point the list needs to decide how much it likes the idea of releasing net
expansions on a certain schedule. This means some of us need to volunteer
to discuss these issues (when to release, how many, how are cards approved).
Obviously, such discussion is important. Otherwise, we will be inundated by
cards and everyone will be confused as to which cards are being used by
other people on the list.

The other thing I think is important is for us to establish some intra-list
competition. One possibility is to use a play-by-MIRC or ICQ schedule. We
could decide on a way to hold some competitions. For this to be
cheat-proof, we would need one intermediary: Each player e-mails their decks
to the intermediary. The intermediary needs to own all the cards. This
person recreates a deck, and shuffles the cards, then writes the order down.
This is repeated for all players. Then everyone goes online. The
intermediary tells you, as your turn comes up, what card(s) you draw. The
players choose what cards to play and what moves to make. We could then post
how many victories everyone has.

This intra-list competition would be a good way to keep us playing and to
promote the net card expansions. I use ICQ and MIRC for playing games with
my friends, and the interface works ok.

Keep the ideas coming,

Teos.
