You have a point, but I really don't think that Custom Check. The only
decks that don't use guns of some sort are mage, decker, rigger
decks.... every thing else has guns or a katana or two. Also I am sort
of limited to my experance in what types of decks are out there... while
I have made every type of deck imaginable I only have 4-6 people to play
against and the types of decks they create and the stratiges that they
use.. So in my personal experance challenges like Customs check would
be a blessing. And others like Hunting Gargoyle are pointless. It is
unfortunate that I don't have a broader understanding of playing styles
and actually see other types of stratieges in use. Most play the
typical frontal assault... and fight through everything decks...) This
lack of exposure (I admit) does limit my perception on what type of
runners and challenges that I would create and could see used.

Those cards already exist... security mage, guardian earth and fire
elementals, hunting gargoyles, corps lights are nothing for a
mage/shaman deck... Minefields, booby traps, streetscum, ambush,
gutcheck are nothing against merc or samurai decks... all decks have
some challenges that they just blow through... Just because that type
of runner typically has the skills needed to sleaze/assist or gear
needed handle it. Its hard to find a challenge that is universally bad
against all types of decks.

It originally had the added line when Blocked Passage is sleazed the
alarm is triggered. (has to do with blowing out the blockage and
creating alot of noise... but I couldn't see to word it without causing
major confusion)

I was trying to avoid it looking too much like the Greater Elementals
with just some cosmetic changes... I'll look into it.

Another possibility might be to force the damage to be split as >evenly
as possible, with no more than 3 damage being assigned to a >single
Runner.

I have personally seen swarms of insects and the damage they can inflict
to crops and animals alike... it is not a pretty sight. In a runnning
group of 5 runners thats 2 damage apiece... with 4 runners thats two
with 2 and 2 with 3 damage. It only really hurts with two or 1 runners
present. Although I could add in the limit of 3 damage.

I don't quite get it... (its morning though and I haven't had my coke
yet.) I used the trash spells thingy to reflect nagas natural magical
powers... which are hard to represent in the challenge itself.

It would be target runner... one that the shadowrunning team chooses...
I chose the sleaze reqirements as a representation of the type of raw
power with heavy guns or magic that would frighten away a large group of
people... and to my knowledge... gunnery is not a common sleaze
requirement for challenges... so I thought it would be cool. Shurg...
hard to say really.
