Ok, I for one am for Doc's idea concerning the two central threads. I
haven't read 'Into the Shadows' but I have read books written with the
same premise, and I have reread them many more times than I have simple
anthologies, even if they had a central event, they just weren't as good
IMO as the ones who all tied together to form a much larger picture. Now
that I'm more clear on everything, I'm behind Doc on this one, it's a
good idea, and not an easy one, but since when was writing anything of
lasting impression or value meant to be easy? We've got 4 editors, that
should be more than plenty to catch our mistakes. Heck, that's what
editors are for, besides the fact that no matter how much you edit your
own story, there's usually something you've missed because 'you know
what you meant' or you simply didn't see it, just like you didn't see it
when you wrote it down. I think it'd major cool points for the writers,
editors, and other contributors if FASA published it too. If it doesn't
pan out in the beginning, it doesn't pan out, and we can change
directions.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I think Doc's idea is 'wiz' and I'm
all for going for it.
