Just thought I'd pop my 2¥ in, if all the people planning to take place in
Rand's project could please add the Meta tag [RA:S Project], the rabid
woodchucks would appreciate it.

I'd like to do a media sub-plot. A local "second tier" trid station
that has studios inside the arc. The ambitious co-anchor going after
the scoop of a lifetime (nothing boosts a newsmans...err newspersons
ratings like a live from the scene of the action). I would just need
to get some timing information from someone, unless I can get my hands
on RA:S soon enough.

I like. Actually, it doesn't matter that you posted this one straight
to the list, Iridios - I would have put this one out straight away
anyway.

How would you consider tying it in to the main storyline? Perhaps s/he
(and her crew?) hitches a ride with one of the teams going in?

Errr...ignore that suggestion, Iridios. I just reread what you wrote.
:)

So how WOULD you tie it in? Think about it - we don't need a concrete
answer yet until we finalise what the core story will be.

Just had an idea, Iridios. This would fly if we go with the two core
stories/second story is a shadow team thing. The station could have a
drone rigger - he gets the action shots while the reporter does the
voice overs etc. He also gets trapped in the station and the co-anchor
gets him to run his drones to get trid-shots of the Arcology for her
broadcasts. They find the shadow team as they're in the middle of a
running firefight with Deus' drones and blues. They track this, getting
all these great shots and everything. Suddenly the doors to the studio
burst open and the shadow team come flying through. They tell the
newspeople to get out, but, after the perfect story the co-anchor
refuses to go and...well, you can probably guess the rest.

Just an idea...:)
