a friend before I post it.

Sword? Knife? A japanese katana-wielding samurai or ninja-type might be
appropriate. Then again, maybe Renraku doesn't go for stereotypes in

Unorthodox and well thought-out? Not at all. Unorthodox and stupid?
Don't think so. :)

Drone has a suppressed LMG, for heavy hitting, the two drones with the teams
each have an LCD screen and mike/speakers to allow pictures and
conversations to be passed back and forth. The two teams would use
different com frequencies, and the drones could be used to keep them in
touch. The other spotter drone with Team Alpha would be used for
reconnisance(sp?) with its info passed to the LCD screen of Team Alpha.

I read this list at work, get it to you as soon as I can.

Oh yeah, add Battletac's for everbody. (which might negate the need for
screens on the drones, comments?)

Errr...that's a big gun to you? :) All right, if you say so.

Okay - for my mind, drones should be able to be tied into a comm
channel - if you're using a frequency, your drones should be able to
access that frequency too. But it's rather moot if you give them
BattleTac. Yes, everyone can communicate using those and, yes, pictures
should be transferable using the system. Also, using different
frequencies for the different teams make sense, but I also think that
the teams would KNOW each other's primary freak. That way, if team
alpha needed to talk to team beta, they could switch to beta's primary
freak and be able to speak with them.

would people say that battletac, IVIS, and/or snake eyes systems are too
far out of reach for the shadowrunner team? I thought the use of snake eyes
would make a great device... ?

BattleTac? Most probably. You'd be spending millions to get enough
equipment for an entire team. IVIS and Snake Eyes? Dunno - depends how
much they cost.

Sorry - let me amend that.. the above systems are used by the team in
drones only. (except for snake eyes - but its still rigger related)....

Cost is still the issue. Say, what, three, four drones? BIG costs for
BattleTac. If I remember correctly, IVIS REQUIRES BattleTac, so that's
even bigger costs. Snake Eyes might be a bit cheaper, but I think it'd
have to be a lot cheaper for a runner team to have it.

IVIS is a type of battletac..

Im thinking two of the sams and one of the drones will have battletac FDDM
(cyberware) modules. this is an addition to snake eyes (which isnt too much
more expensive than other cyberware). IVIS does appear to be a bit
expensive though....

Anyone OTHER than Rand have an opinion here? :)
