RTF also sends formatting to the list. It needs to be ascii text, and in
outlook, if [HTML] [RTF] appears in the topmost menu bar - you are
sending out non plain text. if it says [Plain Text] Things are good.
(Quickest way to check what you will be sending from outlook. Eudora has
a setting that will strip the mail down to plain text if you have a
certain option checked.

Hmmm... I see your point.
Unfortunately, ASCII and the rest generally entail losing any italics and
whatnot that might exist in your text. Which is unfortunate.
