I was wondering if someone could help me out...I need to give a
character in a story I'm writing a sub-dermal datajack (not sure if
I've got the name right), and I don't own Cybertechnology (yet; I've
been acquiring SR books at a breakneck pace, but I haven't gotten to
Cybertechnology). Maybe some wonderful person who owns it could give
me the specs and a brief rundown on the 'ware? Couldja? Huh? Please?
It'd be great if someone could...go ahead and mail me privately if
the list isn't the appropriate venue for such things.

I think what you mean is an "Induction Datajack."
If not, well, skip the rest of this post:

Induction Datajack .3 Ess 3000¥ 5/4Days 2 St.Idx

A subdermal induction pad, that lets one access a standard data-out port
through the use of a special cable terminated with a induction connector. The
whole thing's under the skin, which makes it easier to sneak into high security
areas.

Performs identically to standard and improved datajacks. For induction
datajacks equivalent to those listed in Shadowtech (pg 45), add .1 Essence & x3
cost. Use Avail/Street Index as above.
