OK lets try this, if you go by the principle that for an item to be enchanted
that it requires some 'life force' of its only, as astrally active things are
considered entities in their own right on the astral plane. In the creation
of all major items the enchanter give up part of his/her life force (karma) to
endow the item with a life of its own. The point to note here is that for
creation of a fetish no karma is expended. As to the enchanting test I believe
that the concentration/specification to create fetishs is talismongering (from
enchanting, like spell casting is a subset of sorcery).
How this, conversely what is your reasoning behind fetishes being astrally
active?
