Urgh red, I think he meant he considered killing the PC *NOT* the Player. I
know some of the people round here can seem a might fanatical at times but I
don't think anyones that far gone - though I can probably think of a few
borderline cases from the list :) - that they'd whack someone they gamed
with over an RPG argument. Unless they tried to introduce an ED/SR Shadowrun
story or bring Harlequin into every other game. Mind you, then it's probably
just be classed as justifiable homicide. ;)

Besides, finding a games already hard enough as it is without us killing
each other off over gaming stuff.

Actually no, I did mean the player. However it should be simple to
deduce from the fact that my email is not coming from
wagemage@******.state.nc.us that I didn't actually wring the bastard's neck.
And honestly being the generally non-violent person I am I probably would
have snapped out of it about long before anyone died.
The player in quesiton was a particularly irritating, pompous bastard
that had been hitting my buttons all night long and I finally snapped. I
have walked away from punches, but little pokes over a period of time will
eventually set me off.
So for what it's worth this is the only time I have come that close to
serious malevolent intentions and I held back (probably to the detriment of
the human race, but I did). Anyway I'm a pretty laid back guy and you REALLY
have to work me over for a while before I'll resort to violence.

Just thought I should clairfy and perhaps assuage concerns about my
mental stability for any concerned (likely my current players at this
point).
