More like "would NOT saving that man eventually cost us our lives"- if
we can't save them, we at least want to make SURE they are dead, and not
due for long term "debriefing" and"reprogramming". Being generally
amicable in our working partnerships, we have a high dedication to
saving one another as opposed to the other option. The fact that 3 of
us must live (form an original 7, now down to 5) for us to collect from
a carib league account due several millions in nuyen also makes each of
those 5 quite worth keeping alive.
Note that nothing says "rescue me" like dumping half your karma pool
into the team pool...
