DEATH TOAD
Bombina Interfactus
IDENTIFICATION
The so called Death Toad is at first inspection nothing more than a
common toad
exhibiting traits of giantism.
Its body length averages 4 meters, and can weigh up to 400 kilos.
The toad can appear in a variety of colors, but mainly exhibits markings
of a dull
gray or green. This, combined with the mottled texture of the Death
Toads skin
lend to its often being mistaken for a large rock.
MAGIC CAPABILITY
None
HABITS
The Death Toad live primarily on a carnivorous diet consisting of small
mammals,
fish, and birds.
Active during the spring through early autumn, depending on the local
temperature.
COMMENTARY
The Death Toad is a fascinating example of giantism among awakened
species.
Some researchers wish to place the Death Toad in the dinosaur family due
to its
immense size, but genotyping does not confirm this theory.

USING THE DEATH TOAD
These beasts lie in wait in corp research grounds, and in fetid swamps.
Have the PCs stumble across one.
Its first attack is normally an attempt at binding one target with the
tongue.
The helpless victim is then engulfed into the toads mouth taking norma=
l
attack
damage.
If the PCs try to hide by standing still, let them see just how patien=
t
a Death Toad
can be. Sure it cant see them NOW, but why should it move away?
Make them wait it out.
