The topic of which movie star would make the best Sam, Decker, PA,
Mage or Rigger has come up before. However, I don't believe I've
seen references to which star would make the best (insert your
favorite) contact. Give it up people :) (I'd start, but my memory
isn't worth shit when it comes to remembering
actors/characters/movies names.)

John Goodman as Humanis Policlub Member.
John Lovitz as Snitch.

Another great snitch is the know-it-all shoeshine boy from the
Police Squad! tv series. Knows everything that's going on, and willing to
sell some of that info.

Bartender - Rick from Casablanca. Ex-runner perhaps forced back in
biz..... Maybe with Sam along for the ride. Sidney Greenstreet makes an
excellent contact no matter what role he's playing (Blue Parrot owner, the
"Fatman" from the Maltese Falcon)

Wannabe/Hero worshipper - Short round from the second Indiana
Jones flick.

Armorer/Arms Dealer/Talismonger/Seller of stuff - Frankie from
_The Saint_. Highly amusing attitude.

I would say John Voight was a great fixer in Heat.

Kaiser Soze from Usual Suspects makes the best Johnson -- you don't know who
the hell he is, but he'll make you dead unless you do what he wants. High
risk, but the pay is good, etc. Perfect screw-the-players-over Johnson.

Back on the idea of good models for a Cab Driver contact, I've have
one called The Jaw based on the cabbie from Total Recall.

Doh!!! I can see where this statement could be twisted for evil.

Disclaimer: I have never nor will I ever be attracted to Mr. Voight "in
that way."

=P~~~

Revised statement: I would say that John Voight did an excellent job in his
portrayal of a fixer type character in the movie "Heat."
