IMO, it would be nice to give more cyberware packages in SR.

These packages are a group of cyberware implants which could give you more
than the simple addition of effects.
For exemple, smartgunlink + cybereyes + cyberarm + tac. computer could
allow you to have your arm automatically target someone without having to
actively use your skill.
It's only an exemple. I think this could give some interesting guidelines
and could help new players to easily build a street sam character.

Another thing that would be fine would be to give the requisites of some
cyberware implants. For exemple, to have VCR, a requisite is datajack.
Once more, this would help new players.

This is a good idea I don't know about that other stuff things like tac
comps are mil spec hardware anyway and very powerful, IMO at least part
of how they work would be like that anyways, But you don't need to have
create extra rules for this stuff. Now things like you need to have a
jack to use a VRC is a good thing, cyber based sensors make tac comps
work at all. If you don't have the eyes and/or ears done you just spent
tons of money on inert juke implanted into your bod...

It's not exactly what you are asking for, but I did some "package deal"
type cyber packages several years ago. Basically, they were combinations of
cyber systems that were purchased as one unit, usually at reduced essence
and/or cost.

If I remember correctly, someone named QuickTec incorporated these packages
into an article for one of the NERPS books. I think it was called "Brand
Name Cyberware" or something similar. For my own selfish purposes, I put
the just my packages (not the rest of QuickTec's article) into the
Collected NAGEE, which can be found at
http://pobox.com/~wordman/personal/nagee.html. The packages are in the
tecnology section.

Again, these aren't really the kind of packages you mention, where the
whole is greater then the sum of its parts. Seems like simsense rigs might
combine with other cyber in interesting ways for added bonuses. For
example, if you had a simrig and a VCR, maybe you could feed the simsense
signal back into the vehicle. The vehicle could key off of parts of the
signal to its advantage. For example, its autopilot could use your sense of
balance to help stabilize itself. In other words, just as the VCR feeds
sensor information to help you pilot, the simrig could assist the autopilot
with judgement by using automatic abilities of your brain.

The packages are one thing, but I think what someone metioned was a list of pre-requisites
that
some cyberware requires; not all items are clear on this.
