Well this is a shameless plug. After many months of nedding an update my
web site has finally got one.

The main changes are:
*Martial Arts rules 2nd Ed -revamped and even more involved, the number of
potential combinations are enourmous (try the Jean-Clude special: Jumping
Spinning Hook Kick with Stun and Disarm :)

*New rules for Spell casting -holding spells for that 'fireball in my palm
look', and taking your time to reduce drain.

*New rules for Earthdawn's Grimoires and Spell Matrices!

Ad break over :)

About time, everytime I visit, it's always the same, though I suppose
you could plead that you're too busy reading all the irrelevant stuff I
and Bull post to each other :) :)

Excellent, I loved the first martial arts rules you had there, and these
made it a lot easier for one of my players who wanted martial arts as a
skill. :). I will be up as soon as Saturday gets here. :)

If the first set is anything to go by, this new series of MA rules can
only be better :)

Ah, magic stuff, more things to upset my players with :)

Isn't there some sort of charging system mentioned in the FAQ about
adverts :)

Let me see now, ah there it is....

The Shadowrun mailing lists accept (snip irrelevant bit) advertising for
payment. We offer a fee waiver if you can show us the cancelled check
for a $1000 (U.S.) or more donation to the Electronic Frontier
Foundation. One donation per advertisement, please. If you don't wish to
donate, simply post your advertisement to the list, and the operator of
the mailing lists will bill $1999 (U.S). The list operator will donate
this amount, minus the expense of collecting it, to EFF. Please note
that the lists are distributed automatically - messages are generally
not read or checked in any way before they are distributed.

By the act of posting your advertisement you agree to accept
responsibility for the fee, you agree to indemnify the mailing-list
operator against any legal claims from you or others in connection with
your advertisement, and you agree to pay any legal and business expenses
incurred in collecting late payment. Our liability to you is limited to
a good-faith effort to deliver your message.

Well I was deprived of net access for over 6 months while I was working in
London, and my last update was just before I left, so its not all that bad
:)

I blinking hope not! Mine wasn't really an ad, and its no worse than
someone saying "Check out Paolo's site for that info". :)

It's only an ad if DM plans on making money. What he did
was a public announcement.

BTW DM, nice stuff.

Hm, you got my mail yesterday, but I think this one should be public.

I hope you still believe me when I'm telling you that I've practised
Escrima for a while (EWTO Style). Escrima is about the most
comprehensive and flexible combat system available today.
I found one major "flaw" in your description of Escrima:
it is not true that Escrimadores can only fight with daggers, knives
or sticks. In fact, Escrima has been designed to cover *all* aspects
of armed combat, which means that an Escrimador can handle the knive,
the stick, the baseball bat, the longsword, the nunchaku, and so on
and so forth. I have seen our chief instructor fight once, and it
didn't matter what weapon he held, he used it with equal skill.
Even I, after exercising only one year, could use a baseball bat, a
bowie knife or sticks of different lengths without any problems.

Was this constructive criticism? Hope so, chummer [rectract spurs].

Bullet

Aw hey, I didn't *really* mean it, about the bill collectors that is.
But the boys in black are going to have a word with you. One of the MA
styles you posted last time was very similar to theirs, and they' were
wondering how you got hold of the details :) :)
