I guess we only have the words on the webpage and that of people that
worked with and for FASA. So unless they just decided this morning we are
going to stage a freakin' big hoax today then it is the truth ... let the
conspiracy nut in all of us awake >:)

All the freelance authors received an e-mail from Mike assuring them they
would get paid, etc. It did not include any further information about the
future of Shadowrun or FASA's reasons for closing its doors, but it is
certainly NOT a hoax.

There's also a release on Wizkids page about their upcoming acquisition of
Shadowrun and Battletech. Again, no information about the future.
