I believe it is the same one..However, There was talk on doing the live
action BT movie after the cartoon..And now with the success of the BT
computer games..I would say that the time is getting close to making a BT
movie a sure success..If FASA maintains creative control..And IF they cast
the story well..and IF they use the high end computer graphics like those on
the test animation cassette FASA was selling a couple of years ago at
GenCon..Writing shouldn't be too difficult since there is a whole BT universe
of stories out there already..

I read that a new one is supposed to be coming out sometime in the future
(knowing FASA, a LONG time in the future :) but it wasn't clear if this
was going to be another "in the cockpit" sim like MechWarrior 2, or a
strategy game, like regular BT but on a computer.

If this were made, I'd probably go see it, provided the local cinema were
to show it (I doubt it, though...) As for the story, with the zillions of
BT novels out there, it shouldn't be too hard to find a good story to turn
into a film script.

If you are talking about another comp game I believe you are refering to
Mech2:Mercenaries..It is already out in the shelves...
