Meine Kameraden und Freunden,

This is something which I have had in mind for some time, owing
to the fondness which I feel for both this discussion list and a rather
popular animated programme, "Animaniacs": For an extended duration I
have reflected upon the possibility of re-writing their theme song
vis-a-vis the ShadowRn@***** list.

What you shall soon peruse is the dubious fruit of my labors.
Your commentary would be appreciated -- I grant you the meter is, well,
problematic, but I should request a modicum of charity for its lesser
failings.

Ahem...

**SONG BREAK**

It's time for FASAmaniacs!
And we're posting to the max!
So, set your keyboards in your laps
You'll type 'til you collapse
We're FASAmaniacs!

Come join the Fearless Leader
And his Dread Executor, too
They're the ones to admin this Virtual Reality zoo
They bring their foots down,
Whenever things come unglued,
But threads break loose
Discussion ensues
And now you know the mood!

We're FASAmaniacs!
Hayden is cute and Doom give threads the axe.
J.D. Falk packs away the FAQs
While Bill Clinton plays the sax.
We're FASAmaniacs!

Meet Damion and Gurth, both named "guru" on a lark,
Cornholio demands t.p.; Doom thwaps him with a carp
Whistler grumbles incessantly, and then the arguments start
Oh, no -- FASA's goofed
Here come the spoofs
See how the rules can warp!

We're FASAmaniacs!
We want play-test-ing contracts!
We're discordant to the max
There's contention on the facts
We're FASAman-y
Totally insane-y

*You'll never be the same-y!
*(insert gripe book) sure is lame-y!
*Who's to blame-y?
*Go ahead and flame me!
*Our SysOps complain-y!
*Quickenings AGAIN-Y!
*The Dark Lords say-y!

FASA-MANIACS
Those are the FAQs.

Charity? From us? From me? Yea, right!

I'd say that we're ShadowManiacs, as some of FASA's other products are,
well, icky.

Other than that, quite fun :-)

Oh, and *THWAP*, just for being so silly.

Now, can you do one to Don McLean's American Pie?

Hell, put it in the FAQ, as the offical list Theme Song. Everybody needs
Theme Music.

As long as you don't neglect it and later say, "Slipped my
mind..." ;)

Marc (sorry for the oblique Kids in the Hall reference. Couldn't help
myself)
