For those of you with TT, it states on pgs 20-21 that the tir has Panthers
which have been extinct since 2003.
PNANA pgs 134-35 describes the sabertooth cat - an awakened derivation of
the cougar or mountain lion (felis concolour)
Now some of you might ask what these two thing have in common (I hope some of
you remember my discourse on pather shamans).
What they have in common is that Panther ARE cougars + mountain lions.
They got it right in PNANA by putting two names for felis concolour but they
forgot a few others like Panther and Puma. Now the awakening did not happen
until 2011 - 8 years after "panthers" disappeared - unfortunatley for FASA they,
like many people did mistook the panther for being a seperate animal from the
Mountain lion (or even worse - just plain fragged up)
Now some of you might state that they mean other types of panthers like the
black Panther (the black leopard) or the black panther (black jaguar), but since
these animals reside in tropical climates (felis concolour being North America's
only true BIG cat) - they wouldn't be as suited for the temperate North West.
(also - felis concolour is a native animal)
Basically - I just wanted you to know that this is a small mistake that really
needs to be said "ooopppss" to.
