I just got the corporate shadowfiles and I was wondering if
anyone has ever run an adventure in the midst of a corp war.

Also adding on to my extinct animals thing, isnt there a listing
of all the animals in shadowrun, thus far in the u.s. amd Europe, in the
two paranormal guides to animals?

I NEED FoF. Is it really needed though? ( I want new
cyberware )

Yeah. I've got one of my players involved in a run that has put him right
in the middle of a corp war although I doubt that he realised that until now
( after reading this posting ). With all the resources that corp can command
it makes for VERY paranoid shadowrunning.

I'd say you could do without FoF if all you wanted was cyberware. If
that is indeed the case, check out other sb's like the Street Sam cat or
S-Beat, S-Tech.

FoF is, however, good for some of the new rules that have been introduced,
for while many SR GMs/players came up with pretty much the same rules to
compensate for certain gaps in the rules ( hey, no game is perfect ) FoF does
make it "official". Some of the gear in the book are rather neat but they
can upset play balance if a GM is not careful and/or you have munckin players
in your group.

In the midst of a corp war? My players keep starting them! (on a small scale,
anyhow) See my recent description of the run I'm GMing involving the Azzies
and Atlantean/SaederKrupp (thanks for that idea!) for the mechanics involved
in a team in the middle of a Corporate War (this one flows over from Seattle
to the Carribean and South America, and maybe Mexico). Over all, it really
puts a dent in a runner's day when they are stuck between two Corps and the
media.

Hoi chummers!

Just back online after a long summer of layin' low in the midwest...tough
to hide from those education officials. I finally got my deck here working,
and I thought I'd drop y'all a line. You may remember me as Midnight Sting.
His name is one that shall live in pleasant memories of times past, but
Electron Dancer (Trondo to some) is the new, improved surfer of the electron
waves. New name, new look (hell, a whole new person), but the same great taste
(sorry, couldn't stop myself). Got an SR Q: anybody know when the Denver
boxed set is coming out? If it's out and just hasn't gotten here yet, is it
any good? Thanks for the info.

Supposedly, the Denver set is to be out in August, but I'll
believe it when I see it.

My inbox is empty for the first time in days, and I've realised how
lonely it is without the list to fill my inbox.... I've had no new
messages since this morning.

What Happened??

Since I haven't recieved any messages from the shadowrun list for a couple
of days now...I am sending this one out to see if I have been dumped off.
Please do not respond to this message. If I get it back I'll know. Thanks
