Which reminds me...
Who out there has changed the skill web (specifically) languages?

I never did like the way you could understand German from Gaelic with a +4
(I believe, no book handy)

-4 dice, I believe. Languages are treated as specializations, so going to
another language in the same group would be four less dice. Different
groups are not considered to be related, so it would be impossible
(according to the SRII rules) to understand German if you speak Gaelic.
I'm not sure how true this is, but I do know that I had a very hard time
understanding the texts on various signs when I was in Wales a few years
ago :)
