Here are the handles of the RN people that replied to my call of challenge,
i.e. that thought they would participate to Magespace's short story writing
contest. :-)

filou (me)
00DNA
Jett
Eric Jameson
Matt T Ork
Danyel N Woods
Rand Ratinac
Patrick Goodman
Michael van Hurst, who managed to send all 3 stories already <gulp>

So far, that makes 9 of us... in the list only! If we follow Michael's
action and all send 'Rat the maximum number of stories, that will make 27
stories at least... at about 20-25 pages each, the judges will have lots of
fun reading to do :-)

Good luck to all participants!

ARGH. There's no "c" in my name...but I won't be submitting more than
probably a single story, so in theory that should improve the rest of
ya'lls odds...

Me too...I only have time for one...I have 3 other stories going out to
different things and my brain's getting a little mushy.

Oups, my mistake... I'm sorry Erik, here in Quebec most Erics are spelled,
well, Eric! so it was the force of habit. :-)

And you can bet that I'm submitting my full 3 stories. Although at least
one will be shorter... (hey, maybe I'll win that way...) "Ah, hell, it
was the only one I had time to get through, so it wins!" *smirk*
Kidding, kidding. Anyway, good luck to everyone.

well as I said, it was a matter of scrouring the hard drive for stories. (Or
rather finished ones)

Well, the odds are I'll be turning in one story, if I manage to coerce that
much time out of my schedule. So that ought to make the odds for the
prolific amongst you a little better.

If... IF this is an open competition, where can stories be submitted? And
what are the guidelines?

Check out shadorat's page at

website (somewhere, I didn't exactly memorise the layout), and all your

well, to further brighten the hope of The Enemy. Due to a slip on my part
(looked at the wrong column on the word count, looked at letter count) the
three stories I sent were very short. I actually didn't send my longer
stories, 'cuz I thought they were way long. <argh>
