So how about permanent bonding of spirits to objects? and not just inhabiting
allies. You shoiuld be able to find a spirit's true name and, er, Persuade it
to help you out with this one...

Check out my "Waking the Dead" post to TOME. This is a slightly different
use of spirits. Maybe it will give you an idea.
