Okay, I am going to once again warn everyone that what I am about to propose
is following a given path of development we are currently deeply involved in.
I wanted some feedback...

The big -IF-

IF an Otaku did the programming for a given piece of simsense hardware

IF a form was used instead of a 'program'

IF a magician were to use the simsense hardware

IF he were Astral Perceiving

Would the interface work?

Basis for argument ...

The Resonance is always adapting, always evolving. Forms, the Otaku
themselves, and their creations are always doing what they can to function "at
their ultimate finest".

A Form is devised from an Otaku's skills, both as a programmer and with the
"Living Persona". Astral Perception is functional with -only- living beings
(ignoring spirit categories like Ghosts for this argument). The Form in
question (the simsense interface programming) is derived from those same kind
of requirements.

IF the argument is disproven, completely within SR mechanics as they currently
stand (NOT limiting to a single text), then I could concur.

But IF the argument cannot be so disproven, by ALL witnesses involved, then
maybe, just maybe, the first step could be taken towards Magic/Matrix
interfacing within the realm of SR.

(And YES, there are literally hundreds of hours of debate and theory that are
starting to come to a head here, I'll explain more at a later date)

The big -IF- ???

IF there was an Otaku who would do such of course...

-K (who sent a copy of this directly to DLoH Mike just to see if a response
would occur, and if so, what it would be)

But isn't a form basicly still code?

I'd have thought there was no 'life' in them at all?

At a fundamental level, yes, it is...

Per say, no, there is no "Life" in a direct sense, but they require a
"Living
Persona" to originate them, in much the same way that a spell requires a
"Living Mind" (again, ignoring spirits).

But, then again, they may be a fragment of Life, in a way similar to the way a
Watcher is an impression of the charismatic willforce (got out of that one) of
the summoner upon the etheric plane.

Because of their source, they respond to change, and may in fact change as
well, evolving/cycling through changes as they need to in order to remain
intact, to "survive" as it were.

Keith, I think that people are either afraid to respond to this thread or just plain smart
to stay out of it. What do you think?

A form for an Otaku is an expression of experience ... as it took karma for
them to make it ...

And as for life in a form ... that's questionable ...
