I'm working back onto an old idea: make a listing (or database) of all the
items in the SR game, usables by characters. From weapon to ICE, from spell
to cyberware, and so on.
The purpose is _not_ to duplicate the copyrighted material, and so this
listing would not include any stats or precise description for these items.
Just something like:
-Item name: Ares Predator II
-Item type: firearms
-Original sourcebook: Street Samurai Catalog
-First time hitting the streets: 2050
-SR3 rules sourcebook for it: Core SR3 Rulebook
-Adjustments through time (if the price or the avalaibility of the item has
changed)
(and for personnal use the french translation of the item name to find it
quickly in the french sourcebooks, but that's another thing).
It's about the timeline, and pre-SR3 campaign and adventures. Several GM
(including me) run a lot of adventures prior to SR3 or the present timeline
(2063 at this time), often to play "by the book" (I mean in a canon way)
some of the most known adventures (Harlequin in 2050, UB in 2051, Bug City
or H's Back in 2055, Super Tusday in 2057, Mob War in 2058, and so on), but
with the rules of SR3 to use all the hard work to correct the flaws of the
previous editions.
In doing so, they want to let their PC and NPC access to the equipments and
item that exist at this moment of the timeline, and maybe introduce the new
one year after year. But to do so they have to check for every sourcebook,
then decided if the timeline avanced was on purpose, maybe tweak a thing or
two, and so on.
I do have all the sourcebooks I need for this, but still I'm looking for
any equipment/item listing you might have done or read on the web you could
give me, so I don't have to write it by myself (I will do it if I have too
but any help is good :) ). I don't need these tables/listings to have stats
or anything like it, just the exact name of the item, and if possible the
source (like "a table of all vehicules in street sam cat first edition" or
"the name of all the spell included in awakenings").
