Sorry for the Non-SR question...considering all the pure SR threads going
I doubt anyone will notice. ;)

For the few of you people on this list who use Juno, how long does it take
to retrieve a typical days worth of ShadowRN mail? I'm trying to decide
if I want to subscribe to the list from my (relatively new) e-mail account
at home, but it seems a little slow...Basically I'm asking if it has a
high annoyance factor or not.

Hmmm...It's not too bad, but it's certainly not the greatest mailer in
the world:) Time taken for download will probably depend more on the
speed of your modem and how busy the Juno network is when you try. I
don't have too many problems, using a 14.4kbps modem, but I've never
bothered to time it to see how long it takes to download 150+
messages...but, It's free, so as long as it works, I usually don't
complain:) Although: it cannot handle messages greater than 40K (I
think), you cannot mail/download attachments, and it only allows for a
.sig that's five lines by 400 characters. It also seems to have some
problem with column width...not a bad mailer and free is free, after
all:)

Then I guess a 28.8 would work just fine...

Actually it's something like 61.4k (found that out after trying to dump
some big text-files from my school account to the new juno one..

No problem here, seeing as I don't really use a .sig of any significance..
