Ok, people, I need help.

I am designing a PBEM, and asked a friend of mine to play, and he
wants to play a dragon. Yes, he is a munchkin.

Of course, I will not allow it. He is an argumentative sort, and I
know would like to debate the issue. I will oblige him, because I
like to argue with him. I need some help with my position. I am going
to explain to him that:
1) He could not properly play a dragon, as no one can comprehend how
a couple thousand year old non-human entity would view the world
2) Why in the hell would a dragon be interested in shadowrunning
anyway?

Could you all help me with some points I could use to support my
position? Much appreciated.

Well, You could tell him that Shadowrunning is all about paranoia, or
fear, and playing a character that will not die is not the point of
shadowrun, but to play characters that have mortality. Who cares if you
know that you'll get out of that firefight in the bar. It's more fun
worring about the bullet that'll kill you, and trying to get them first.

In response to Drekhead's munchkin plea:

You already stated reasons 1 and 2 in your question, so here's 3)Game
imbalance, 4)Too much productive playing time trying to hash out
PC's-as-dragon rules, and of course 5)Because the GM said so, that's
why! :)

Ia-A dragon's, let alone any 6 to 12 thousand year old
being's-motivations, thought processes, and means are so far above or
apart from the motivations and means of any normal character as to be
nigh unto un-playable.

>2) Why in the hell would a dragon be interested in shadowrunning
>anyway?

IIa-Most dragons are powerful enough to be able to fend for themselves
without shadowrunning.
IIb-Any dragon at all interested in shadowrunning as a profession or
source of income has more serious problems than simply being low on cash
(for instance, can we say BIG enemies?)
IIc-If a dragon needed something done through the shadows, he (or she)
would be infinitely more likely to hire a group of shadowrunners to do it
for him (or her)

III-(This is the most important point)BECAUSE THE GM SAYS NO!!!!!

:)

Good luck:)
