(Wow, it kinda like having one of those 'jobs' you guys talk about.
A lot of sitting around doing nothing... I'm bored.)

You could blame my last GM, but I kinda like this idea.
My old character was a cab driver. During our sessions I played both sides
of the shadows.
Well, things just accumulated in my trunk. I kept a list but my GM didn't.
Eventually it got out of hand.
The only explanation we could come up with was that the trunk opened up to a
metaplane of storage.
It was a <dun-dun-duuuunnnnn> "Trunk of Holding".

Well now that I'm GMing, I've decided to give my players a Munchkin Factor.
It's one (that's ONE, uno, ichi, singular, 1) item that can Munchkined out.
So far 3 characters out of 7/8 have taken advantage of my offer.

One has built a facility with every type of shop kit available (it has a
general work shop, computer/electronics shop, etc)
but it also can double as a vehicle facility (paid for a shop).

Another has a set of goggles with smartlink-1, thermo, and can also be used
as a HUD for various computers.

And the Troll Merc decided to Munchkin his gun. A FN-HAR with dual clips,
Sound suppressor, Gas vent 4, Smartlink-2,
Troll Sized, and an undecided underbarrel mount.

I guess these could be called "Signiture Items". It kinda makes the
character unique to have this item that only he has and can use.

Anyone else got any unique item stories?

According to Valeu John EMFA, on Mon, 17 Sep 2001 the word on the street was...

Australian chocolate biscuits (cookies). The one I had a few years ago was
rather good, though I don't see why all the Aussies seem to be addicted to
them.

We had a medkit that was similar to those clips. Every time the thing was used, we
rolled a D6 as instructed in the rules, to see if it was empty. But even though the
thing was used what seems like hundreds of times, the die never came up as a 1. We
eventually got this mental picture of someone holding the medkit upside-down and
shaking it, to have a HUGE pile of supplies falling out of the small box.

Actually, Gurth, we like them - it seems to be the
North Americans who try them who become addicted.
According to my father (who lived in Canada and the US
for a good fifteen or more years, so he knows of which
he speaks) it's because American biccies are, on the
whole, crap. No offense. ;)

To be honest, I like Oreos personally (and I'm
addicted to Reese Sticks...something about that peanut
butter, chocolate and wafer combo...), but Tim Tams
leave 'em eating dirt...or the Yanks eating dirt, as
it were. ;)

Wel one of my "famous" caracters had a few items that where a bit
wierd like a foam sprayer, the foam would harden like iron within a
few seconds you shoot it onto someone and it would harden in
seconds and wala : instant stateu
he had plans for a huge pole (he was a troll) with things that would
shoot out of it like spikes, mono wire nets, tazer charged blades
But it never worked out my Gm thought it was to wierd and would
never work

But also a gun that shoots sideway's (left and right) with darts that
hold monowire and are conected to ethoder, so you shoot it in a
coridor in the walls you get a fast in effect dealy trap

A machine that would shoot baseballs at an enormes speed

and some of my other caracters had some strange stuf but never
as bad as chipeloi =)

I lost the page, but I made a machine pistol of which I am eternally proud.
It was completely within the rules of the Cannon Companion though...the
result of course being that it costs an arm and a leg but it's well worth it
(and you can always save up to get a cyber replacement for said arm and
leg...yuk).

They fired only in FA mode, fully compensated for like the Ruger
Thunderbolt...this plus the increased power resulted in a base damage code of
11S. It also had ceramic components at level 3 so it was virtually
undetectable by scanners and it had a sound suppressor to boot. These li'l
babies are my pride and joy, and if anybody wants the full stats including
what options I used to build 'em let me know...

They are chocolate biscuits, like some other people said. There is an ad,
where someone gets offered 3 wishes. The first two wishes don't work out too
well, but the final wish is for 'a packet of Tim Tams that never runs out'
and the final scene is a packet of Tim Tams refilling itself as someone
takes the last one.
