I am not even sure what you want to say with these... words.
They don't really make sense.

The intent of my sig is to say 'Where is the hobo leader?' but use the
(american?) english word hobo without translating

"War ist dien Hobo Feuer" <---- If my german is wrong correct me

Ok, part of your problem is you're using that past form of the verb "sein"
rather than the word for "where". You might want to try "Wo", which
is at
least the right interrogative. Secondly, "dein" is the second person
possessive... basically, "your". You need to change it to "den",
since it's
a direct object.

Right now it reads "Was is your Hobo Leader?"

Change it to "Wo ist den Hobo Feuer?" and you're close enough that they'll
snicker at your German after you leave, rather than look at you like you've
sprouted a breast from your forehead.

"Wo ist Dein Hobo-Führer" should be ok,
though I am not that sure what a hobo leader
is. Hobos are those people jumping on trains,
right?

What you're saying is "Was is serve Hobo fire." That is *way*
different than what you were shooting for, ja?
Try "Wo ist der Hobo-Führer?"

According to Nexx, at 10:27 on 17 Oct 00, the word on the street was...

> Right now it reads "Was is your Hobo Leader?"

My guess would be, "True is serve Hobo Fire?" which is a very cool
sentence to confuse people with, but not something that makes a lot of
sense :)

Yeah, well, I misread "Feuer" as "Fueher"*. I blame it on the pain
killers.

*Umlauts not included because I'm lazy.
