I made up a simple spell kind of like that I call Goop for Shadowrun. A
manipulation spell, all it does it create some sticky goop that hits its
target. It won't blind a person if you hit them, or only for a moment while
they clear their eyes. What it will do it stick to anything, like glasses,
goggles, windsheilds, cameras, and drones. Once it hits a surface, it is
difficult to get off, just smearing it around if you try.

I decided it probably shouldn't block radio waves or anything else than
sight (including thermo and anything else I guess) so a drone can still be
controlled, but can't see. Someone in full armor is going to have to find
some kind of solvent to get it off the visor so he can see. And a car is
going to have to pull over, or else drive Ace Ventura style with your head
out the window (I don't allow the catching of bullets in your teeth - but
that might make a good physad power:).

It would also work with headlights or spotlights.

The idea of some goop being thrown like this makes it sound like a fairly
simple spell, so the drain would be low, like (F/2)L, then raised up to
(F/2)M or so because manipulations are generally harder to cast. The mage
could cover anything up to a vehicle of body size (magic attribute/2). But
the utility of the spell might make it harder to cast (as in for game
balance reason)

Any thoughts on this?
