Welcome! The Bull-bot seems a bit distracted, but I'm sure he'll be by as
soon he gets around to it:) Just in case, enjoy your stay, and I hope you
like mail-you'll be getting between 50-200 messages a day, on average.
But, again, welcome.

Oh, lovely. Another WebTV user (no offense to our other WebTV user).
Okay, a couple of things Tom: First, please, please, please, PLEASE quote
the messages that you are referring to, whether you do this by
hand-typing in the message or by getting an account at Hotmail or
RocketMail (two Web-based e-mail providers), you _need_ to quote
messages. Two, Welcome! The Bull-bot should be by, but he seems to be a
bit distracted, so I guess he'll be by as soon as he can:)

Or summarize them in a few words, or maybe one or two lines if it's a bit
long. If you reply without giving the rest of us any idea what you're
talking about, you'll get flamed in no time. Who was it again that also
used WebTV? Maybe he can help Tom Cone out a bit...

It was Shawn Baumgardner, I believe. He is now using HotMail IIRC,
because WebTV's e-mail was so inept.

Remember, he couldn't quote either. He was typing stuff like:

<In response's to Gurth's grounding comments>

which works just fine, if you have a good memory like he did.

You will no doubt have had about 20 or so greeting by the time I get around
to sending this, but, for what it's worth, welcome to the list. I hope you
don't mind lots of mail, and lots of talk that is only partially related to
Shadowrun (although they do behave themselves most of the time). If you
can handle that, you'll be set and in for a ball of a time. Have fun and
enjoy your stay.

Ray.

Because of the different time zones and the times at which people read
mail, you often get more than one response to a message, all of which say
basically the same thing.

Mentioning who wrote what isn't really necessary, it's more the actual
text that's important because else it's really difficult to see what your
message is about (but if your mailer has such a feature, I'd say switch it
on).

Well, no real idea of any PBEM's that need players, but they get posted
here from time to time, so I'm sure one will pop up before long, and you
might already have heard something privately about a PBEM game, so...:]

Greetings all,

I'm not really big on intros, but after looking through some of the
previous posts, I thought I should go ahead and do so. I worked for
AWOL Productions as a staff artist from issue 2 of Ka*Ge until issue 12
(the last issue published, which was indeed the one with the cover of
the black haired lady with the sunglasses, illustrated by Dan Smith),
doing a majority of the covers and a sizeable chunk of the interiors. I
also did a *very* limited amount of writing for one or two of the issues.

Anyhow, if you have any questions about Ka*Ge or AWOL, fire away.
I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.
